For 80 years, Union Mission has served the homeless community of Savannah. With a variety of programs designed to provide safety and stability to those working to rebuild their lives and leave homelessness behind, Union Mission offers a second chance to men, women, and children in need.
Thanks to the community’s financial and volunteer support, over the past five years 73% of our clients exited emergency services into safe, stable living arrangements. Your support makes a difference and your generosity helps those individuals and families to rebuild their lives.
Unfortunately, the need is still great. Savannah has an overall poverty rate of 26% and 33.4% of Savannah’s children live in poverty. Over 4,000 individuals are homeless in the greater Savannah area. But thanks to you, there is hope….
Since 1937, Union Mission has worked to prevent and end homelessness in the greater Savannah area. We rely on the generous support of volunteers and community members to help ensure the light of hope continues to shine for those working to leave homelessness behind. We are profoundly grateful to you for making our work possible. Thank you for helping to ensure help is always available to those who are homeless in Savannah and ready to rebuild their lives.
